Methodology
How we build JD-traced interview kits
We start from one job description — not a shared question bank. This page explains the method, what AI is used for, and what we do not claim.
The principle
A strong interview prep list should follow the posting you applied to: responsibilities, must-have skills, tools, seniority language, and the round you are facing. Generic “Software Engineer interview questions” lists ignore that. Our product is built to reverse the flow — paste the JD first, then generate structure.
What happens after you paste
-
1. Full-text ingest
We work from the text you paste. Role title, company clues, duties, requirements, and preferred skills all matter. Incomplete pastes produce weaker kits — we show a free preview so you can re-paste before paying.
-
2. Role & skills breakdown
We surface how we understood the job so you can check fit. If the breakdown looks wrong, the posting was incomplete or ambiguous — fix the paste, do not pay yet.
-
3. Foundational Questions
Twenty Foundational Questions practice the concepts the posting implies — short outlines so you can rehearse before deeper probes.
-
4. Round-specific questions
You choose phone screen, technical, system design, final, HR, or similar. The same JD gets different emphasis per round. Each of the 20 questions includes a follow-up and a short answer outline for last-hour revision.
-
5. Optional resume layer
If you add a resume, we add Resume Story and Resume Questions tied to that experience and this JD — still structured, still downloadable.
Where AI fits
Generation uses AI models to draft structured kit sections from your inputs. Output is predictive and JD-specific — not a guarantee of interview questions you will hear, and not a substitute for your own judgment. Always sanity-check outlines against the posting.
What we do not do
- We do not sell long courses or scripted “perfect answers.”
- We do not require an account or collect a marketing profile from your paste.
- We do not promise you will get the job.
- We do not replace reading the employer’s posting yourself.
Privacy in one paragraph
No account. Free preview sessions are short-lived on our servers. Paid kits stay on your personal link for a limited window, then are deleted from our servers — download the .txt for a permanent copy. See Privacy for details.
